I LOVE this app, I use it to wake up everyday. Its one of those no brainer things everyone should have on their mem stick. in fact sony should have had an alarm clock in OFW years ago.
I have one suggestion if I may be so bold. When a person is asleep pressing L or R is simple as snooze.. of course. However with motor functions being less than perfect it is simply to easy to accidentally mash the X button by accident and exit sleep mode all together. OK so its only happened 3 times in an entire year... But would it not make sense to make exiting sleep mode a multi button press, like up+triangle (you'd need two hands therefore you are awake). Just a suggestion for an otherwise perfect app. Keep up the good work, it sounds wierd, but its appreciated almost every morning.
Hey JusteZero,
thanks for your comment. I'm appreciating my app every morning too hehe. Thanks for the suggestion, I will take this into account and already planning on a new version with some nice new features. Until then, I hope you have some good mornings with SnW
Hello, thank you for your sweet app.
Any chance of getting an update to support IRSHELL 5 It works, but the memory card flashes and generally frezes when using the multiple task feature, tabbing back and forth. If you do use it through IRShell then you must exit the app through your application exit or home key, then it will return to IRShell without freezing your PSP. IRSHELL now supports 3 apps including it self. Also if you want to check out the Moded version of your sweet ass app here it is. http://luno.us/PSP/wakeNbake.rar I use this program every night, it is Awesome. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I have turned 5 of my friends onto it as well. They also use it every night. Edited text and created sexy theme Thank you again, lovehate
JusteZero, that is a great Idea, two hands, I agree.
any word on when the next update coming out. IRSHELL 5 Compatible? Can't wait, love SnW as well. Use it every evening and morning. It is one of my favorite apps. Sony should pay you for this and make it a downloadable non-hombrew app and an Offical Eboot. Purchasable? Maybe even add it in to the sub menus, so that every psp user could enjoy this. I love it so much, and your appswitcheras well. I use it with your appswitcher and relabled the rss channel and moved that over to the PSN which is my Utilities instead of PSN and Named the rss channel Waken' Bake. So it is my menu. Thanks again, lovehate
Hi lovehate.
Thanks for your comments. I can tell you that the next SnW will be huge but I can't tell when it will be out, because major improvements and added functionality needs time and I'm currently working at another project while the job(tm) is munching quite some time from me too Your mod looks nice but it's missing the information about the author in the lower left corner :((((( I'm happy that you have found a useful way in using appswitcher
Hello,
MK2k I know I removed the credits from the Main screen, and I am somewhat sorry, but I would prefer a fancy splash of your Logo and/or name, really fast splash if used, like so you say to yourself after it displays, what was that? Making you look at it again and again until you figure it out, stamping it into your brain through curiousity, verses being stamped in the actual program, or in an about where those three ... are in my mod instead of "Write a message" which is in the normal version, it takes away from the look of your app in my eyes, maybe you would like to have the about there also because if you hit that on accident while exiting, you get a friendly reminder of the creator and think to yourself, Have I sent him any money for his great apps yet, I told myself I would. Besides I wear glasses and can't read the message in the morning, so pointless for me, that is why I just removed it. Also because when I was editing it, I think I shifted some hex settings but didn't notice it until I was all done messing with it, and so I just scratched it. Maybe put in a logo MK2k watermark or something more subtle if you must brand it. Thank you for not encypting your work so we can learn from the masters like you. If you need any beta testers I am happy to support you, I have a few different models of the PSP and run different configs on each of them for testing apps. That is all my ranting, thank you for taking the time to read it, I know you are busy. Thanks for checking out my mod too. One of your fans, lovehate
Hello.. can u make this to work with ogg files rather than just use an mp3? I convert all my songs to ogg format because i want to save space..
Thanks.
Good suggestion, I'll take that into consideration for SnW 2, which is definitely planned even tho the PSP scene seems a bit dead today...
FOOD FOR THOUGHT.
I would love to see an update for this to work with the hlaf byte loaders so we could have an alarm clock on the PSPGO 6.20 finally. Your program loads and functions with somedistortion but of course it does not access the music for some reason, guessing the prx file or info in the eboot? or the paths possibly. Something to think about. THey are doing the contest again if it is worth your time. Just thought I would let you know. Maybe you should get dev lic. from sony. it would payfor itself for all us go users. You could sell it as a PSP mini Alarm clock for starting price of 14.99-9.99. I would totally buy this app as well as my 20 pspgo user friends for our pspgos and if you could impliment it into there calander and clock. They and you would sell a ton. Hope you do something. Good luck.
Thanks for your suggestions, I'll investigate into that. The official dev license is currently beyond my possibilities tho.
Lol hardly anyone posts here, but once again, love this app MK2k. For each post here I'm sure there are thousands more people using this app who would die without it, or wake up late for work at least.
Hope you haven't given up on the PSP scene, wouldn't blame you if you did. Really hoping to see another update but even if you don't your hard work has already provided a wonderful service and y'know what the damn thing is pretty well perfect anyways.
Your comments are always welcome, so thanks again
I didn't give up on developing for the PSP which is still the best handheld gaming device in my opinion. And it would be a shame if InsertWittyName and me made a game engine and no more games would be released with it (or even apps). Last weeks and months got a bit calm from my side but that may change soon. A beefed up version of S'n'W isn't that uncertain.
Almost forgot, I changed the background to something more stylish by replacing background.png with another file with the same name. Just a tip for the fellow noobs, any pic works if you convert it to a png using mspaint.
Love to see something like that in the customize menu. Carry on.
How about sharing your more stylish background with us (or even just me hehe)?
Use 44kHz mp3s, I assume you are currently using 22kHz or 32kHz mp3s.
